Review

Maybelline Fit Me foundation comes in a sleek glass bottle with a black plastic screw cap. Since the bottle doesn’t have a pump dispenser it becomes little difficult to pour the product out. The open mouth also leads to product wastage which I don’t approve off but once you get a hang of it, this won’t be that huge problem.

Moving on to the foundation, as I mentioned earlier, I am in love with it. The consistency is perfect , neither too thick nor too runny. It has a silicony feel to it so it glides on very easily and blends well no matter what you use- fingers, beauty blender or a buffing brush. It does take a minute to set in place so you get ample amount of time to work with it. Although it doesn’t cling to dry patches much , I would still recommend using it over a well moisturized face. It provides amazing coverage which can be built from medium to full without looking cakey or whatsoever so the concealer can be skipped on regular days however if you have very deep dark circles or acne scars then you would still need one. It gives a semi-matte finish and feels very light on the skin. I have large pores around my nose and cheeks and this foundation does make them look less obvious but it doesn’t blur them out completely. It stays put for upto 4 hours without a primer post which my skin starts looking a little oily , so it definitely needs a blot once or twice in a day if you have super oily skin like myself. It definitely lasts longer with a primer underneath. I picked the shade 310, Sun beige,  for the first time which turned out to be just a little dark for my skin tone (I am MAC NC35) and also it has a tendency to oxidize a little, so the shade looked a little off but I worked with it by mixing it with a lighter concealer. I then went ahead and got shade 230, Natural Buff, which was a great match for my skin. This foundation instantly brightens up the face without looking unnatural.

Overall, I love how this foundation looks and feels on my face. The coverage is awesome for a drugstore foundation and the finish it gives doesn’t look made up at all. It is my current go-to foundation and why not, after all it has everything that I would ask in my foundation and that too at such a reasonable price smile Highly Recommended !

I haven’t bought this yet just because of the fact that there is no easy way to get this thing out of the bottle. But after reading your views on it I seriously considering it 😬😬

I hate when you have to pour out the product. I always make a mess lol. It does sound nice though. I might have to check it out.

This is a great foundation. I haven’t used mine in a while but it’s a great drugstore foundation. I wish it came with a pump though.

I am not much of make up person, but feel good I don’t have skin pimples or pores that require concealing… black eyes I get once a while and did not not what to do about it but these days its not there… Now I know wask your face, moisturise it, put primer, then foundation and vala… face looks flawless… I would try it… the foundation you reviewed does a good job of brightening up your face and concealing minor imperfections which is awesome… this is a classic as well as it is in the market for a very long time.
