Packaging

The brush comes in a translucent plastic cover as all other RT brushes. It has synthetic bristles made of taklon hence it is 100% cruelity free. The handle of this brush is made of aluminium which is orange in color having the Brand’s name written at one side and name of the brush written on the other side. Brush name on the handle makes it easy to refer to the right brush while creating a look. It has a flat rubber bottom which acts as a base to keep the brush standing in the vertical position.

My Experience

After hearing rave reviews about Real techniques brushes on YouTube and several beauty blogs, I really wanted to try these for myself . The two brushes that got my attention were the powder brush and the stippling brush. I saw one of the youtuber use the powder brush in her video and I was like ‘this brush is so huge and so so so cute’. While she was setting her makeup using this brush, I was busy calculating the dimensions of the brush laugh Haha. I wanted a large powder brush and this looked like a great fit. I literally pictured myself using it right there *rofl* .  So, I finally ordered  this one along with the stippling brush from iherb.com ( Check out my haul post here ) .

I don’t have words to describe how much I love this brush. It is the size of my fist and feels extremely gentle and luxurious on the skin. You can use it with loose powder, pressed powder, mineral makeup or bronzer. Since the handle is made of aluminium , the brush is very light weight and easy to carry. The shape and design of the ferrule makes it very easy to use and gives a nice grip of it. The brush head is big and fluffy. It has the perfect density and is apt for applying powder or to set the makeup. The brush picks just the right amount of product and distributes it evenly throughout the face and neck. It glides on effortlessly and helps achieving a flawless even finish. I use it mostly to apply my setting powder. I would generally just roll it over my pressed powder, tap off the excess and swipe it across my face. Just five strokes and I am done with my face laugh For a lazy bum like me , this brush is a savior .

I have been using this brush since the day I got it and I make sure to wash my face brushes everyday because I cant take a risk of using a dirty brush on my face and then suffering from break outs. It is easy to clean and trust me, no matter what I wash this brush with , it doesn’t shed a tiny bit. I loveeeeeeeee it. This is hands down my ultimate favorite smile

Buy it here .

I actually read a few people complaining about RT brushes. I saw pictures of the bristles falling out after using for a few months. I guess there are always bad apples in the bunch. This is my fav RT brush which I have on my WL.
