“I always feel that if you’re gonna be uncomfortable and unhappy in something, just because you think it’s in or it’s chic, I would advise you to be happy rather than well-dressed. It’s better to be happy.” — Iris Apfel
Denim skirt, a style staple of seventies, is a must have and if you don’t own one, you are behind the times. This skirt is such a versatile piece to have that it can be paired with almost anything. It comes in plethora of designs, lengths and shapes that there’s no chance that you don’the find something of your taste. It would look good with a crop top or a loose fitted shirt, a button down blouses, a biker jacket and what not. For this look I decided to go for a pastel pink anti-fit top over my pencil fit skirt along with heavy accessories. I went for these stunning earrings that my friend got me from Bali along with a gorgeous handcuff from Collaba Street, Mumbai. The footwear is from my favorite shoe shop ‘Kins, Lajpat Market’. While I styled mine this way, you can also go for various other options, like a maxi Denim shirt with a sophisticated top or an off-shoulder top with a knee length skirt would look equally good. Hope you enjoy the pictures ☺

Sundays for me are the days when I can sleep till late, eat whatever I want and roam around in my pajamas- basically laze around- but because of the busy schedule that I have, these are the only days I get to meet friends and family too, so I prefer wearing something that is utmost comfortable and a combo that’s fail-safe on days like these. Last weekend I was at my home when a friend called me over for a coffee and I couldn’t say no. Because I work in Gurgaon and my family is in Chandigarh, I almost had nothing dressy to wear as I had taken most of them along with me to the PG, and all I could think off was to borrow my mum’s shirt. I have put on some weight so I was a little skeptical about the pant being fit for me..but fortunately it looked all fine. So I simply tucked my shirt into the half military-pants and wore my favorite pair of sneakers from H&M. I don’t know why but I love putting bow clips and I did the same here. My choker is again my current obsession and it is from H&M. I must say for me having a black shirt is a must as it goes with anything to everything and this starry print makes it all more stunning. Loved how this look turned out. What do you think?

Style defines your personality and attitude, and when it comes to me, simplicity is supreme excellence. Style is an individual’s own opinion and about knowing who you are. I have always adored Indian traditional attires but I get to wear it only a few times because of the complexity involved, so I decided I will get a suit tailored for myself. I bought the cloth piece and got it stitched in the most simplest fashion. I paired the kurti with pant so that it is more comfortable. The top had handwork of golden zari all over which made the color to stand out. As I opted to wear it for my best friend’s Haldi function, I went ahead with a pair of heavy golden earrings, bangle and glittering sandals. This way the suit looked traditional (appropriate for the occasion) yet modish. Love how the entire look turned out. Simple yet sophisticated Time for some more pictures …
The only thing that differentiates one’s style from the other is the way he/she accessorizes an ensemble, so accessories play equally important role as the clothes you wear. Fashion however is not limited to how we dress up but the attitude and overall personality which defines us. Accessories can glam up any dull or boring outfit and add a spark to the look. While there can be numerous fashion accessories one can possess, it is practically not possible for everybody to have all of them so here we have compiled a list of five must have accessories that all you stylish women must have.

There are times when you just don’t think while picking up your outfit for the day , and this one was one such day for me. When I don’t wanna spend a lot of time deciding what I want to wear, one color that always comes to my rescue is black.. Here , my outfit is pretty basic yet it would look good on any random day. This black high neck top from forever 21 is my current favorite. It fits on me so well and is warm at the same time so it has become a wardrobe essential for me this winter. I pared this basic black top with a military green skirt and a black legging. To protect myself from the chilly weather I also threw on a tan colored leather jacket. This outfit could have been accessorized but I wanted to keep it simple so didn’t add any. To complete the look I wore my black ankle boots from H&M and that’s about it Enjoy the pics ..

Past few days have literally flown by, I can’t believe we’re already half-way through January. This post has been in my drafts folder since a very long time and no wonder you are seeing it at an odd time since it is fall. But I could not hold this one till summers so I thought of putting it up here for all of you to see. I have been a sucker of floral prints since ever and this particular maxi dress caught my eye while I was scrolling through a webshop called jollychic.com . The colors on this one are so stunning, I couldn’t just resist picking this one up. I am loving quarter sleeves these days , so definitely this dress seemed like a good choice. It is made of a very soft, lightweight and comfortable fabric which makes it a wonderful option for day time. You can opt for a belt to cinch the waist and give the outfit some shape but I am all about loose fits these days so I din’t bother much. Because the print on this one is so catchy, I din’t accessorize it either. I just went ahead with these n*de wedges from Metro, which can also be replaced with a beach slipper.. That’s all about the outfit. Hope you enjoy the pics

So it was my best friend’s engagement ceremony and I was clueless of what to wear. I wanted something that was not overly flashy yet wanted something that stood out. Another thing I had to keep in mind was the budget because there are days when you have absolutely no cash in your bag ( Thanks to Narender Modi for demonetization ). The only place which strikes me when I am in such a dilemma is ‘Lajpat Nagar‘. I decided to keep my entire outfit under 5000 INR and well I managed to do a decent job. I got this black crop top & full length skirt from a shop in Lajpat for under 2000 INR. I went for black top as it was something I could wear later on as well and the pink skirt added color to this ensemble. I knew I had to accessorize this one heavily as it would have looked very casual otherwise, so my favorite neck-piece from romoch.com came to my rescue… Can’t tell you how much I love wearing this one I added one more necklace around my waist and to me it looked most perfect thing to do. My heels again are from my favorite shop in Lajpat called ‘Kins‘. The transparent block heels are to die for. I went for studs in antique silver look and also a hand cuff in same color to complete the look . Sometimes, you really don’t have to spend a lot to look good . If you are in Delhi, you must must must checkout Lajpat Nagar market, it is my favorite shopping destination
