Color correcting has always been my thing and I have been a huge fan of banana powder since the beginning so when my brother sent me Nyx color correcting powder, I was in love with it. Although I asked him to send me Ben Bye banana powder , he sent across this one and I am glad he did. It comes in a cute little pot which is transparent at the base and has a black lid. Under the screw cap, is the sifter with huge holes in it so be careful while you poke them open as this might lead to a messy situation.
NYX color correcting powder which comes in 3 shades ( Banana, Lavendar and Green ) is an ultra fine loose setting powder that is paraben and talc-free. Because, this powder is silica based, it gives an amazing mattified effect to my skin blurring out the large open pores I have on my face and also brightens up the area. The yellow color basically tones down the darkness under the eyes and makes my face look fresh and even. It has a very silky texture hence blending is never a pain with this one. Since there is not puff provided in this, you have to use your own powder brush to work with it. I recommend using a very light hand during application as it has a tendency to look a little too powdery when over done. I personally love using it to bake and it keeps my concealer in place for the entire day. It lasting pretty long wearing but if your skin is combination/oily then you need to blot a few times while wearing this powder and the base may just come off.
I must say I am totally loving Nyx Color correcting powder and recommend it to all of you. This is an absolute joy to use if you have oily skin like myself. The quantity lasts for 1-2 months depending on the usability but for that price I think the time period is acceptable. The good thing is that it doesn’t catch flaky skin and so it can even suit girls with dry skin. Go check it out!
Have you tried Nyx color correcting powder?? What are you thoughts?
