I remember the days when I entered teens and started using Medimix ayurvedic soap to keep acne at bay. Ofcourse it didn’t help too much with the pimples caused due to hormonal imbalance (because it needs medical assistance) but it definitely aided keeping my skin dirt and oil free. Since then medimix became one of my favorite skincare brand and even today when I find my skin behaving unusual, I keep going back to my trusted products.
Medimix face wash comes in a semi see-through squeeze tube that has a flip open cap. Because it is half transparent you can actually tell how much product is used up. The cap doesn’t let the product spill and hence it is safe to travel with. I got the 50 ml size and it was only half filled, I found the quantity little less but if it says 50 ml at the packaging, I am assuming it is nothing less the what’s mentioned.
The facewash is a green colored gel that smells strong and is almost similar to their soap version. I only need a pea size amount for my entire face and neck. It doesn’t lather too much probably because it is sulfate free. Not just SLS, it is also free of parabens which is an added advantage and justifies the claim of it being organic. It is very gentle on the skin and efficiently takes off all kind of non-waterproof makeup but when it comes to removing long lasting ones, this facewash doesn’t do much. It leaves my skin shine free for 1-2 hours without ripping the natural oils off my skin . I prefer to layer a light moisturizer over it when I am not putting on any makeup and a hydrating cream otherwise. This facewash does a decent job in preventing acne which could be because of the anti bacterial ingredient turmeric and keeping the skin healthy and free of dirt and grime. It is a great option for everyday usage.
Medimix Anti Tan Face Wash is another variant to address tanning issues, so you may also check that in case that’s what you are looking for.
