PAC Liquid Liners : Review , Swatches

July 2, 2016

I know I am posting quite a lot about liners and kohls these days but boyyyyyy eye makeup is so my thing.. I love doing my eyes because I believe it changes the way you look in an instance. Remember I did a PAC first impressions post a few days back? I thought I would review these eyeliners I got from the brand because I am sure there are many of you who would wanna know how they really perform.. So lets get right into it smile

I will be talking about two eyeliners from PAC Cosmetics today which are : a) PAC Highshine Liquid Liner and b) PAC Cosmetics Liquid Liner Pen. The texture and the performance of both of them is different so I thought I will cover them up in one post so that you can analyze the positives and negatives and decide which one would you like to pick smile

PAC High Shine Liquid Liner

Product Claim

“The HIGH SHINE Liquid Eye Liner is long-lasting and does not smudge, crack, flake or peel. With its high definition  felt tip applicator, one stroke is enough to define a fine or thick line. Fast drying, Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner is suitable for sensitive eyes and those who wear contact lenses too!.An eyeliner that should last you all day long.”

Review

PAC Cosmetics Highshine Liquid Liner comes in a long black tube packaging with a applicator that has a stiff nib. It lets you apply the liner with high precision and the entire thing is sturdy so a good option to carry while you are traveling. The pigmentation is pretty awesome as you get a good dose of color in a single stroke. It has a glossy finish which is what the name suggests too. I am not a great fan of shiny liners so this one is something I do not reach for very often but it will be a good option for those who like such finish. It lasts for an average time, say 4-5 hrs, on my oily lids but tends to peel somehow from the inner corners which is where my eyes get watery quite often. The best part about this liner is that it dries within fraction of seconds but that also brings in a limitation that you have to be really quick with it and there is a little scope of correction if you mess it up. Removing it is very uncomplicated as it easily comes off with soap or facewash and it doesn’t smear everywhere which is definitely an added advantage. Overall a decent option.

Its professional flexible brush offers great accuracy to line and define the eyes, ensuring an even application. Enables ease of use with the optimal control to give jet black color. It dries up quickly and our consumers have said the below results-

  • 1-81% said it is waterproof.
  • 2-90% said it is long lasting.
  • 3-87% said it is easy and quick to apply.”

Review

If I have to choose one of the two eyeliners from PAC, I would say this pen version is my favorite and  I will tell you why. First and foremost look at the packaging, it is so convenient. Not only it is in a pen form which all of us find so easy to use but it also has a rubber grip that prevents your fingers from slipping or sliding. Next, the felt tip has just the right amount of flexibility, so it is neither too soft nor too rigid and works perfectly for an effortless and hassle-free application. It is richly pigmented therefore it doesn’t require multiple layers however you may need a few swipes when using it over any eyeshadow. I am able to create beautiful wings with the help of it and I am surely going to keep the pen even if the product in it gets over so that I can use it as a brush for my gel liners. The wear time is longer the the high shine liquid liner. It dries up quickly, doesn’t sting in the eyes and gives a semi-matte finish. I absolutely enjoy putting this on. I have it in my bag all the time and feel that it is an ideal pick for beginners.

If I have to recommend one of the two I will say go for the liquid Liner Pen. It is my current goto eyeliner. If you have tried any of these then do share your thoughts smile

I love the precision of the first liner, but it definitely sounds like one best suited for an expert hand.

These PAC eyeliner seems to be very good, the grade you gave is good, 3,5 out of 5. The pigmentation being good and lasting power too, I would like to try it. I just didn’t like that it peels off a bit, but anyway I would like to try! Hope you have a nice week!

Purva I too prefer felt tip liners as they let you have mire control over your liner.I do not prefer shiny finish of liners so the second liner is going to be on my wishlist.Great review and they are so utterly pigmented.

Even I would go with the pen, its easier to apply and lasts well, richly pigmented. It’s fun to use and play with as its a good eye liner product for beginners.

The liner pen is costlier must be because its better than the first product. Since you say it is easy to use and you made beautiful wings and all with it, will go with the pen only even if its costlier(:
