Sometimes I just wonder how fast we grow. It feels like I just passed out of college sometime back and look at me now.. I have been working for over 5 years and I don’t even realize it. Well that’s how life is and we should accept each phase of it gracefully. As we grow old, our body and skin demands more care and I felt that I needed to try my hands on something that replenishes my skin thereby maintaining its natural glow and elasticity. Today I will be reviewing Vivel Cell Renew Fortify+Repair Night creme that claims to boost ceramide synthesis at night and repair the photodamage caused during the day on the skin.

“Did you know Ceramides make 40% of the lipids in the topmost layer of your skin? Exposure to sun, fluctuating microclimates, harsh environment can decrease ceramide content and your skin’s defence can become weak. This allows the sun to cause further photodamage during the day leading to pigmentation, black spots and dullness.Cell Renew Fortify + Repair Crème with DermaRefine Complex boosts* ceramide synthesis at night when your skin’s metabolism is higher and helps repair photodamage caused during the day on your skin. “
How to Use
- Apply every night before going to bed on thoroughly cleansed face and neck, massaging gently in an outward circular motion.
Vivel Cell renew night creme comes packed in a carton box that has the details about the product, the ingredient list and the directions to use it. Inside the box you will find a cute little plastic bottle in white with a navy pump dispenser that gives a great control over the amount of product to be dispersed out. It also has a translucent lid that covers the pump dispenser so this way it becomes a travel friendly option. Packaging is quite sturdy and lightweight.
The creme has a medium but somewhat slippery texture. It spreads easily and gets absorbed into the skin with a quick massage because of which it feels like you have applied nothing at all. It has a pleasant refreshing scent which I personally like very much. It hydrates the skin well but doesn’t get sticky like many other moisturizing creams do. I use it every night before going to sleep over nicely cleansed face and neck. It does help improve the skin texture over a period of time without reacting to the skin but fails to work on my acne scars, dullness or pigmentation.
Overall, I find it a decent moisturizing creme but it does nothing extra ordinary except bringing a little firmness. I haven’t noticed any major visible changes in my skin post usage but everybody’s skin is different so it may work well for you..Try to see.. For me is just another cream available in the market.
