Asian Paints celebrates ‘World Interiors Day’

All of us have some sort of ideas to decorate our Dream House, some want a pool outside , some want it full of greenery and some want it to look modern. In short, everybody has a plan for how they want their home to look like and interior is something that definitely needs a good planning. Asian paints celebrated ‘World Interiors Day’ with a unique movies-inspired workshop on interiors for consumers on 27th May,2016 at The Color Store in CP which was set up to educate the consumers and interior décor enthusiasts on colours and designs and how it can change their space.

Shruti Gupte, a renowned Film Production Designer, who has worked with popular films like ‘Aisha’, ‘Taare Zamin Par’, ‘Khoobsurat’, ‘Lunch Box’, hosted an exclusive workshop on how to draw inspiration from homes and office spaces designed in popular films. Through examples of her films, she covered various aspects from designing homes of characters in movies, to tips on how consumers can use designs seen in movies as an inspiration while decorating their homes. She explained how our personal and professional environments are an extension of our personality and should inspire our days, help create memories or convey our aspirations.

Amit Syngle, President-Sales, Marketing & Technology, Asian Paints Ltd, also described how the brand has always strived to engage consumers on painting and décor by sharing insights on how to choose the right colour to offering firsthand experience through interesting DIY activities through events and activities at the Colour Store.

For those who are always looking for new ideas to do up their personal spaces with all that’s in vogue and colorful, this workshop at Asian Paints’ Colour Store, CP proved to be inspirational and experiential in equal measure.

    First time I have contact with Asian paints,nice to know that they also cooperate in films – I love the settings of some amazing movies and try to recreate the scenario at home – as much as I can!

    Purva Asian paints is the oldest brand available in the Indian Market and it is very trusted brand too . Interesting post.
