The first thing that came to my mind as soon as I laid my eyes on this lip bomb by Blue heaven was the EOS lip balms. It comes in the form of a sphere with a twist-off top that makes it easy to locate in the bag. The packaging is exactly same except for the fact that the quality of material used to make the shell feels a bit cheaper in this one when compared to EOS. Just like EOS, this lip bomb too looks utterly cute while carrying but could be a little inconvenient to be kept inside the pant pocket.

It is formulated with Shea Butter, Canola Oil, Bees Wax, Hydrogenated castor oil, Almond Oil which feels rich on the lips. I have it in the flavor Cocoa Butter which has a very mild aroma of coconut and vanilla. It is a clear balm that has minimal shine and can be a great option to be worn under or over the lipstick. It doesn’t have a thick overwhelming texture, rather it applies very smoothly and feels delightful on the lips. Only two swipes is good enough to moisturize the lips and it stays on for 1-2 hours without meals so the longevity is average and it needs to be reapplied frequently. I use it to prep my lips whenever I want to wear a matte lipstick because my lips get dehydrated really fast. It also lets the lipstick to glide on easily making it adhere to the lips better. Since it does not have any color, you cannot go with it alone if you have pale or pigmented lips however if you have naturally rosy lips it can be used on its own. It does not do a lot to repair flaky dry lips but provides immediate relief from soreness upon application.

Overall I quite like how this lip balm performed on me. It is a good pick to instantly fix dry-dehydrated lips as it moisturizes the lips decently leaving them soft and supple. Not to forget it looks super cute and is so budget friendly that anybody can afford it.

Buy it here.
