Eye Makeup Tutorial : Easy Winged Eyeliner

June 23, 2014

Hi Girls

Winged eyeliner is the hottest trend these days and we all love it but let us accept this that we all struggle achieving a perfect wing on both the eyes .. at least I do 😛 So I thought why not share a very simple technique to reduce the efforts as well the time taken to get that perfect cat eye look. Keep on reading to know how to do it laugh

Products Used :

Steps to Recreate :

Step 1 : With the help of the scissors cut a small piece of cello tape .

Step 2 : Take cello tape piece that you just cut and paste it on your palm so that it is not very sticky and is easy to take off once the winged liner is done.

Step 3 :  Place this piece of tape on the outer side of the eye such that its one end touches the outer corner of your eye and other is just besides the eyebrow tail as shown above(3).

Step 4 : Start lining from the center of your lid towards the outer corner . Here we just want to create an outline and don’t worry about ‘where to stop’ as the cello tape we applied will take care of it 😉

Step 5 : Now line the rest of your eye starting from the center of your lid towards the inner corner of your eye .

Step 6 : Fill the liner inside the lines and even out any bumps that you notice . Make sure you also fill the gap between the tape at outer corner and the endpoint you created for your wing.

Step 7 : Let the liner dry for a few second and gently remove the tape . And there you go.. Your perfect winged liner is created. Simple wasn’t it ? 😉

Final Look :

You can also use a gel liner in place of liquid liner. I do not recommend using a pencil liner because I personally feel the wing doesn’t appear crisp and defined when done with a pencil. So girls try this technique and see how easy or difficult it makes your wing making task 😛

I hope you find this tutorial helpful. Let me know in the comments section what you think about it laugh

Cheers laugh
